"They want you to move to Oklahoma and present daily! The evaluations were absolutely GREAT! Your presentations suprassed all expectations. I hope that you could sense the reactions so that when you left you knew that you had inspired them to inspire others." - Mary L. Meritt, Ed.D., Asst. Superintendent, Oklahoma State Board of Education

"The more speakers I see, the more I appreciate what it is that you do. Somehow you are able to turn your painful and awkward experiences into universal lessons that remind us of the value of education and the importance of encouraging others. Anyone that can make an audience laugh and cry and learn all at the same time is worth their weight in gold... I can't wait until we can invite you back again!" - Public Affairs Associate, Academic Affairs Division, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

"When over 600 secondary teachers ALL praise her for relating to their needs and ask for her back to the school district again, she has to be a very special person... Having worked in education and staff development for over 20 years, I have heard many great speakers. Mamie, however, has to be one of the best, if not THE best motivator I have ever heard... she cannot be equaled!!!" - Linda Lamberth, Director of Professional Development/Library Services, Tyler Independent School District, Tyler, TX
